Welcome Autumn

I'm slowly going through my Fall decor and I’ve purchased a few additional small items. I’ve added a small basket of sunflowers to the front door and a basket of pumpkins to the hearth. I'm working on a few hobnail look pumpkins and running other ideas through the thought process. I made the larger pumpkins in the basket a few years ago and really like how they stand out in the basket. The Longaberger basket and the small pocket basket are thrift store finds. The flowers in the door basket are Walmart and Dollar Tree finds and the flowers in the larger basket are from Hobby Lobby and Michael's. The smaller colorful pumpkins I've had for a few years.

I dislike the cooler weather, but love the changing of the seasons. A favorite quote of mine is "Autumn is the season that teaches us that change can be beautiful" or another variation "Falling leaves remind us that letting go can be beautiful." I'm really working on letting go... of things I've collected over the years. I grew up without a lot of frills and find it extremely hard to let go of things, but hoping it gets easier as I get more accustomed to ‘change.’
